Tavoloverde: 21 Years of Cards, Green Tables, and Italian Passion (Part 3)

A new phase: Fausto, family, and Maurizio

Over time, the historic partners also took different paths. Andrea left Tavoloverde, and Fausto remained to lead the project.

Alongside him came his wife and Maurizio, a long-standing collaborator and a fundamental figure in the company’s history. Maurizio was not merely operational support. He was a living presence: known, recognized, and important, especially within the Roman club scene.

There are people who do not always appear in the headlines, but without whom a story would not be the same.

Maurizio was one of them.

In 2024, his sudden passing left an enormous void, both human and professional. Tavoloverde stopped, absorbed the blow, and then did what it has always done in difficult moments: it rolled up its sleeves and sought a new balance.

Also in his memory.

Tavoloverde beyond poker: burraco, bridge, regional cards, and collecting

One of the reasons Tavoloverde is still here is its ability to change skin without losing its identity.

Born for Texas Hold’em, the company has learned over time to respond to the needs of many different audiences:

·         traditional poker enthusiasts;

·         burraco players;

·         bridge players;

·         card collectors;

·         lovers of Italian regional playing cards;

·         cardistry enthusiasts;

·         darts players;

·         tarot enthusiasts;

·         circles, associations, clubs, and gaming groups.

Tavoloverde did not remain imprisoned by its own origins. It listened to the market, to customer requests, to trends, renewed interests, and niches.

Over time, the website became a meeting point between gaming, collecting, tradition, and customization.

Because cards are not just cards.

They are family, cafés, clubs, tournaments, Sunday afternoons, gifts, collections, memories, games among friends, lucky hands, and hands impossible to forget.

The value of customization

Among the services that have most characterized Tavoloverde, customization certainly stands out.

At first through stickers, hot stamping, and ceramic. Then, over time, through increasingly specific processes, all the way to the production of ceramic and metal coins.

Today, customization is one of Tavoloverde’s flagship services.

Custom poker chips, tokens, military coins, commemorative items, event gadgets, articles for groups, associations, and institutional organizations: Tavoloverde has transformed a gaming product into an instrument of identity.

A chip is no longer just a chip.

It can become the memory of an event, the symbol of a group, a promotional item, a sign of belonging, a small emblem to preserve.

It is in this passage that Tavoloverde shows one of its best insights: not simply selling products, but creating objects with a story.
